When considering your prop plays, there are many factors that go into their success. You can follow the process and make as good a decision as possible. Sometimes, though, it’s not always enough. Things happen that are simply beyond your control, and unfortunately, they impact the results. That was the case last week as Kayshon Boutte left without a catch due to a hamstring injury. Aside from Boutte, we went 1-1 in Week 9 as Oronde Gadsden continued to dominate and Justin Jefferson struggled. Now, it’s time to review our Week 10 NFL Prop Plays on DraftKings.

Week 10 NFL Prop Plays (DraftKings)
Dalton Kincaid Over 43.5 Receiving Yards (-109)
In his third NFL season, we’re still waiting for Dalton Kincaid to truly break out. He took a step back last year, but if he continues on his current pace, it will be a career year for the tight end.
Through seven games, Kincaid has 27 catches for 411 yards and four touchdowns. In four of those games, the tight end has surpassed his player prop for this week of 43.5 receiving yards. Twice, including last week, Kincaid went past the century mark as he tries to find that elusive consistency.
If there’s another week for it to happen, it would be this one. With an over/under of 49.5, the expectation is for a lot of offense on Sunday between the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins. It also helps that the Dolphins allow the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. The expectation is that Kincaid will take advantage of the situation and continue his success.
Stefon Diggs Over 58.5 Receiving Yards (-111)
Drake Maye has proven to be a more than capable quarterback this season. With 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns, Maye has shown the ability to move the ball down the field. This week, Maye and the New England Patriots face a Tampa Bay Buccaneers team that has shown the ability to do just the same. That means Maye will have to keep up with Baker Mayfield.
As Maye does that, the expectation here is that Stefon Diggs will play a large part in that. His player prop of 58.5 yards is set just above his season average of 56 yards per game. However, when you consider the expected game flow and the injury to Kayshon Boutte, Diggs is in a good situation.
There hasn’t necessarily been consistency to Diggs’ game so far, but we also know what he’s capable of.

J.J. McCarthy Over 18.5 Rushing Yards (-118)
The big thing for J.J. McCarthy is that he’s healthy. He returned to action last week and led the Minnesota Vikings to a strong victory. With 143 passing yards and two touchdowns on 14 completions, not much was asked of McCarthy. It is notable, though, that he made it through the game healthy.
After rushing for 25 yards in each of the first two games of the season, McCarthy only finished with 12 yards on the ground last week. He did score a touchdown, but what was more notable to me was the opportunity. McCarthy had nine carries, which means there wasn’t necessarily a concern keeping him in the pocket.
This week, the Vikings face what has been a reeling Baltimore Ravens defense. I would expect McCarthy to find some success, but also be in a position to flee the pocket. That looks good for his rushing player prop.
