Each week during the season, the waiver wire presents new opportunities to improve your roster—and how you manage your FAAB budget can be just as important as who you add. In this weekly FAAB Report, we’ll break down the top waiver wire targets along with recommended bid ranges to help you stay aggressive where it matters while still managing your budget for the long haul.
Your first step… Well, okay, your second step, right after reading this article, is to head over and devour our updated Top 500 Dynasty Baseball Rankings for 2026.
Week 11 MLB FAAB Report
Peter Lambert (SP – Houston Astros) – 53% Rostered
After struggling in Colorado for four seasons, Lambert spent a season in the NPB before returning to sign with the Astros this spring. It is early still, but he has not only been a nice comeback story overall, but he has also provided value for fantasy baseball managers, as well.
He has gone 5+ innings in eight of nine starts, has held opponents to two or fewer earned runs in five of those starts, and has tallied 5+ strikeouts five times. The walks are still an issue (11.7% BB rate), but he has limited barrels, which has still allowed him to go semi-deep into games, giving him a chance at quality starts (three on the season) and wins (five on the season).
What I like best here is the upcoming schedule, as he is slated to face the Angels and Tigers in his next two starts, both of which rank 25th or worse in offense in 2026. That alone makes him an elite streaming option over the next two weeks, and he is also considered a pickup and hold at this point.
Kody Clemens (1B, 2B, OF – Minnesota Twins) – 40% Rostered
Clemens checks a lot of boxes and is likely one of the top pickups for week 11. After flashing big power after joining the Twins early in the 2025 season, he appears to be taking the next step in 2026. He got off to a slow start but has really picked it up recently with a .297/.326/.593 slash line over his last 23 games. The power has been there during the stretch as he has five home runs while adding eight doubles and two triples.
He is not only hitting 3rd/4th in the lineup regularly, but the advanced stats indicate that the offensive upside is here to stay and may even grow. With his multi-position eligibility, Clemens is an excellent pickup in all formats.

Jake McCarthy (OF – Colorado Rockies) – 52% Rostered
McCarthy is back where he started the season as the Rockies’ leadoff hitter, which has him trending on the waiver wire this week. Anyone who got on him early hasn’t been disappointed, as he comes into the weekend with multi-hit efforts in five of his last eight games with four doubles and two home runs while in the leadoff spot.
The power is not something I am counting on going forward, but I do like the extra-base potential, and he is also adding value in the stolen base department. As long as he sticks as the leadoff hitter, he should be in consideration in all formats.
Brandon Young (SP – Baltimore Orioles) – 33% Rostered
Another starting pitcher who has been trending lately, Young goes into week 11 coming off three straight quality starts. That has helped push his ERA down to 3.47 on the season as he has now allowed three or fewer earned runs in eight of nine starts. While the strikeout upside is capped, his slider is generating a 36% K rate, so if he starts throwing it a little more (12% on the season), we might just see a tick up in that department. It is also positive to see a chase rate that is sitting in the 90th percentile.
This addition is somewhat of a speculative pick as his upcoming schedule has him facing the Mariners twice, followed by, most likely, the Dodgers. If not in desperate need of starting pitching, I would hold out at this time. The one positive with his daunting schedule is that the price to pick him up right now should be minimal.
