Week 4 – Draft EPL Waiver Wire

The Week 4 EPL Waiver Wire comes after the international break and lots of movement, both transfers and injuries. There is opportunity for managers to make some big moves this week.

Week three suggestion, Jadon Anthony scored in his second straight game, and he’s looking like a season keeper. William Osula had the chance to impress in his start for Newcastle, and simply didn’t. Ethan Nwaneri didn’t see the field, as Arteta relied on more experience. The Gunners are much deeper this season. Matty Cash and Villa lost 3-0, and they are looking for answers early on.

Week 4 Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire

Week 4 suggestions (rostered 50% or less) are listed in order from most to least rostered.

Tosin Adarabioyo – Defender – Rostered 33% – Brentford vs Chelsea

Tosins started the last two games at center back. They conceded just one goal over those two, with two of three games being clean sheets. He scored almost 20 fantasy points last game, picking up solid defensive stats. Chelsea has started strong, and Adarabioyo is looking to be a regular starter. Opponent Brentford has started slowly, with both of last year’s top scorers moving on.

Douglas Luiz – Midfielder – Rostered 25% – Arsenal vs Nottingham Forrest

Luiz was a fabulous fantasy and actual player in his time with Villa. It didn’t work out for him in Italy, but Forrest fans are hoping he finds his old EPL form. If he starts to get some time, it’ll be interesting to see if he is on set pieces and how involved he is in the attack. Forrest travels to Arsenal, so this may not be the week to judge him fully. He’s worth a stash on the EPL waiver wire, especially with two good fixtures after the Gunners.

Brajan Gruda – Midfielder – Rostered 17% – Bournemouth vs Brighton

Gruda has started the season coming off the bench. He was the difference maker in the last game, scoring the game-winner to shock Manchester City. He’s not a sure starter, but with Matt O’Riley leaving, injuries, and his performance, he stands a chance to get more time. They will want to build on the big win.

Callum Wilson – Forward – Rostered 10% – West Ham vs Tottenham

West Ham scored once in their opening two games, then scored three in their last game. Those three goals all came after Wilson entered the game. He scored the final goal to seal things, and his energy changed the feel of what had been a stagnant attack. He certainly earned a chance to start. His teammate, Mateus Goncalo Fernandes, is worth a look too on the EPL waiver wire.

Have subs ready, as managers may be making changes. Have fun. Good luck.
