The Week 19 EPL Waiver Wire (under 50% rostered) is a quick turnaround for the Boxing Day and following day matches.
This are tough weeks as an EPL Fantrax manager. Injury lists are growing as are suspended players. Plus with games coming so quickly, we know managers will be rotating players. It’s important to have a a bench ready to go, and a starting 11 that you can count on. Don’t be scared to take some chances here.
EPL Waiver Wire suggestions for week 19 are listed below in order of most to least rostered in Fantrax.
Week 19 Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire
Christian Eriksen – Midfielder – 35% – Manchester United vs Aston Villa
United have simply not been very good. At all. But Eriksen is a quality player. He’s been out for a while due to injury but got some last minutes in the loss to West Ham. United will need to inject some quality if they want a result against Villa.
Neco Williams – Defender – 29% Rostered – Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest
When Neco starts, he’s a good choice, and he’s not started three in a row. You won’t expect a clean sheet for Forest, but the wingback still is going forward enough and making enough defensive plays to earn points. He’s a player you might want to hold onto also.
Andros Townsend – Midfielder – 11% – Sheffield United vs Luton
Townsend scored his first goal for Luton, after back to back games with assists. He’s now started in last three, and they’ve needed his experience. Luton fully deserved the win against Newcastle, and they weren’t pushovers in their losses to Arsenal and Manchester City before that. This is a massive game for both teams. I’d get him now while you still can on the EPL Waiver Wire.
Cameron Archer – Forward – 1% – Sheffield United vs Luton
Archer scored his third goal of the season to earn a massive point against Aston Villa. He was active and the farthest man forward for most of the game. SHU host Luton, who also like to concede goals. There aren’t a lot of forward options out there, so if you’re looking for one, Archer should play in a big match against a porous defense. There’s a lot to like in that for this EPL waiver wire pick.

Good luck!
