The week 30 EPL Waiver Wire is back to a normal game week, but the players (and Fantrax managers) got a bit of rest from the international break. Hopefully, you got some rest.
Three of the four players recommended on the week 29 waiver wire scored. Not bad! Hopefully, you were able to grab one of them in what was a tough week.
Manchester City host Arsenal in the last and best game of the week.
At the bottom of the table, Forest was deducted points pushing them in the relegation zone, but just a single point below Luton.
Only eight games remain with lots to play at both ends of the table. Each game and each point matter in the EPL and for Fantrax managers.
The top EPL Waiver Wire suggestions for week 30 are listed below in order of most to least rostered in Fantrax.
Week 30 Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire
Joe Willock – Midfielder – 34% – Newcastle vs West Ham
Willock has moved his way back into the starting XI. He’s always active at both ends of the field, and he’ll pop up for a goal here and there too. Opponents West Ham are in 7th place but still have given up 50 goals this season, ranking them near the bottom. I continue to like him as an option in my team.
Djordje Petrovic – Goalie – 18% rostered – Chelsea vs Burnley
Chelsea hosts 19th-place Burnley. Chelsea are mostly playing for pride at this point in the season, but pride is something. Petrovic has been a solid fill this season for Chelsea, and with a home matchup against a team that has truly struggled to score, he’s a usable option. Chelsea then host Man U, but then travel to Sheffield and host Everton. So it’s a decent stretch of games for them too. If you’re looking to stack on Chelsea’s defense in the EPL wavier wire, Axel Disasi is rostered in only 36% of leagues.
Jeffrey Schlupp – Midfielder – 10% Rostered – Nottingham Forest vs Crystal Palace
Schlupp has been out for over a month. Before that, he had started 17 of 20 games for Palace. Forest continues to fall and now is in 18th. The versatile midfielder has a goal and an assist in the season. He’s not a big points player, but he’s a player who should get back in the starting XI and earn stats on both sides of the ball.
Sasa Lukic – Midfielder – 8% Rostered – Sheffield United Vs Fulham
He’s now started in four straight games for Fulham, and they’ve won three of those four games. He grabbed his first goal of the season last game too. It helps too that Fulham travels to last place Sheffield United, who have conceded 74 goals, which is on pace to challenge the worst goals against in EPL history. Lukic is a good way into a solid Fulham team with a good matchup. You could do way worse on the EPL waiver wire at this time of the season.
Here’s a reminder that week 31 comes right on the heels of week 30, with games starting back again on Tuesday!
Good luck.
