The week 31 EPL Waiver Wire is a very quick turnaround! There’s just a day in between games for this week! So get your teams set.
EPL teams continue to manage through injuries and a tight schedule, as are Fantrax managers. The top of the table is as tight as it’s been in years with just three points separating the top three teams in the league.
The top EPL Waiver Wire suggestions for week 31 are listed below in order of most to least rostered in Fantrax.
Week 31 Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire
Harvey Barnes – Midfielder – 39% – Newcastle vs Everton
Barnes scored two goals in just 22 minutes as a sub on Saturday in a big win against West Ham. It would be hard to keep a player like that on the bench after such a performance. He’s been back for a few weeks now but hasn’t had a chance to break into the starting eleven. They host an Everton team that has not won a game in the EPL since December 16th, 2023.
Daniel Munoz – Defender – 33% rostered – Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace
Munoz has become as steady starter for Palace, making him an ideal EPL waiver wire pick for managers looking for a game-in and game-out player. He’s not often spectacular, but he also is going to give positive minutes and points. Opponents, Bournemouth sit just one position ahead of them on that table, so this is a matchup and pick worth considering.
Tyler Adams – Midfielder – 4% rostered – Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace
The American captain started his first game of the season for Bournemouth after coming off injuries. He was a real presence in the midfield as they scraped out a 2-1 win, especially on the defensive end, with three tackles won and four interceptions, amongst other positive contributions. I was worried about minutes for Adams, but with that output, plus his showing game in and out for the national team, I’m not quite as concerned. At this stage, he’s a quality player to pick up on the EPL waiver wire.
Leon Chiwome – Forward – 1% rostered – Burnley vs Wolves
Injuries across the front line for Wolves have decimated them, with player after player going down. They have been forced to bring on promising youngster Chiwome. He got a solid 83 minutes in his first ever minutes and start in the EPL. He got off just a single shot in a disappointing 0-2 loss to Aston Villa. Villa was a tough opponent though, and Burnley has nowhere near the same quality, even as Burnley fights to stay up. This is definitely a pick of hope in a quality young player, against a team that has conceded 65 goals.
It’s quick weeks in succession here. After week 31 ends on Thursday, you’ve got to get ready for Saturday games for week 32. Use the EPL waiver wire well!
Good luck!
