Week 30 Draft EPL Waiver Wire

The EPL waiver wire is finally back, as the international break and FA Cup games gave Fantrax managers a few weeks off. Games start back up on Tuesday, so be sure you are planning accordingly.

In week 29, Jack Harrison had double digits in a 1-1 draw and continues to produce solid points. Matthijs de Ligt got a shutout and scored more defensive points. Jean-Ricner Bellegard had two assists and over 20 points for Wolves. Jaden Philogene-Bidace had his first below par game, but that wasn’t shocking against Nottingham Forest. He should stay on the list of possible options.

There’s a full set of games for week 30. Multiple teams have a game in hand, so managers need to be planning ahead for those weeks as more information becomes available.

Week 30 Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire

Week 30 suggestions (under 52% rostered) are listed in order from most to least rostered.

Kieran Trippier – Defender – 51% Rostered – Newcastle vs Brentford

Trips is actually just over the 50% threshold that we normally have. It’s been a disappointing season for him, but the upside here is too hard to ignore. He’s available in almost half the Fantrax leagues, and if he’s available in yours, get him. Now. He’ll be taking corners and set pieces, as he did against West Ham in week 29. With injuries, he should be the locked-in starter. Plus, Newcastle has a game in hand. Valentino Livramento is another quality option for Newcastle.

Ilkay Gundogan -Midfielder- 37% Rostered – Manchester City vs Leicester

When Gundo starts he usually scores solid points, and he’s assisted in each of his last two starts. But he doesn’t always start, so there’s nothing certain about this choice. City have the second most goals scored this season, and Leicester have conceded more than anyone but Southampton. City attackers are worth picking up here on the EPL waiver wire, just be aware of rotation.

Chris Richards – Defender – 36% Rostered – Southampton vs Crystal Palace

Palace have won three straight in the EPL (plus an FA Cup win), conceding just once over those games. They are playing with confidence on both ends of the pitch. This means that most Palace players are rostered. Richards has been scoring consistently, even without clean sheet points. They travel to Southampton who continue to be he worst team in the league. Richards and teammates have a game in hand as well, so managers can get him and hold him for an upcoming double week.

Abdukodir Khusanov – Defender – 24% Rostered – Manchester City vs Leicester

Khusanov had a rough start at City. He’s settled in and has become a week-in and out starter. Leicester haven’t scored in six straight games and have been shut out in eight of the last nine games. Besides Josko Gvardiol, who is rostered across all leagues, Khusanov is the best choice amongst Man City defenders and worth a look on the EPL waiver wire.

Follow the good matchups. Check team news. Good luck. Have fun.
