Week 19 – Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire

The Week 19 EPL waiver wire marks the halfway point of the season. With games coming quickly, it’s not if players will be rotated but who and when.

For week 19, Dwight McNeil was solid but not spectacular and went a full 90. Everton has a decent stretch of games, so he might be worth holding. Curtis Jones scored over five points, but managers would have been looking for more against winless Wolves. Liverpool travels to 16th-place Leeds, so he’s also worth a play in this game. Keane Lewis-Potter really should have scored, but missed a good chance, keeping his score below what was expected. Kevin had a shot on target but continued to frustrate.

Be flexible and ready to adjust.

Week 19 Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire

Week 19 suggestions (rostered 50% or less) are listed in order from most to least rostered.

Jesus – Forward – Rostered 34% – Nottingham Forest vs Everton

Jesus continues to start and put in hard work. He got his first assist of the season against Manchester City in the 2-1 loss over the weekend. His hold-up play is improving, and they will want to stop their two-game loss streak. Jesus has a goal for the season. He should be up for a physical game against the big Everton center-backs. Forest needs a win to keep some distance between them and the relegation zone.

Yasin Ayari – Midfielder – Rostered 32% – West Ham vs Brighton

Ayari has had two solid games in a row for the Seagulls. In his return to the starting 11 over the last two games, he’s had nine total shots and is averaging just under 10 Fanrax points for those games. Brighton have been on a tough run, as they haven’t won in five. West Ham, though, has lost three in a row and hasn’t won in six. Ayari and team should have chances as the Hammers have conceded the second most goals in the EPL. Fantrax managers could find some options in the Brighton lineup on the EPL waiver wire.

Lewis Miley – Midfielder – Rostered 25% – Burnley vs Newcastle

Miley has shown that he can be versatile and successful in multiple positions for Newcastle. That versatility has kept him starting as Newcastle has had injuries to deal with. He’s young and has shown some quality. He has a goal and two assists on the season. Newcastle are without a win in three, so a trip to Burnley could be what they need. Burnley haven’t won in nine games, including seven losses. Miley is a smart player, and his consistency could be what Fantrax managers need this week.

Luke Shaw – Defender – Rostered 22% – Manchester United vs Wolves

Shaw is one of multiple options for United against the worst-in-league Wolves, who have lost 11 in a row, being held scoreless in seven of those. While Wolves did finally get to double-digit goals, they still are without a win and have a -29 goal differential. Shaw has more potential value than some of the other United defenders, as he gets forward on the wing and will take a set piece from time to time. Any defender here is worth a look.

Get those lineups ready! Good luck. Have fun!
