Week 23 suggestion, James Hill had his fourth straight double-digit point return, which included an assist. Conor Gallagher has his second straight start for Spurs and his second straight very solid game. He’s fit right in and looks to be a starting player moving forward. Tomas Soucek didn’t score as much as his previous two weeks, but he got a full 90 again with a decent point return. Marcus Edwards didn’t score or assist, but like the other suggestions from week 23, he should continue to be rostered.
Week 24 Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire
Week 24 suggestions (rostered 50% or less) are listed in order from most to least rostered.
Crysencio Summerville – Midfielder – Rostered 39% – Chelsea vs West Ham
Summerville has scored in back-to-back games. He’s felt on the verge of breaking out at times this season, but he couldn’t get that final product. West Ham have now won two in a row and look like they have a fighting chance to stay up. Summerville has eight shots over his last three games, and he’s been causing trouble down the wing. The Hammers travel to Chelsea in week 24, then to Burnley in a massive game in the relegation battle. Summerville will need to continue his good form for West to keep moving up the table.
Kobbie Mainoo – Midfielder – Rostered 37% – Manchester United vs Fulham
Mainoo was finally placed into the starting lineup for Man United once Michael Carrick took control of the managerial responsibilities. The results speak for themselves. They beat Manchester City 2-0, then league leaders Arsenal 3-2. He provided a key assist for the win against the Gunners. United are now undefeated in six straight, and they’ve climbed into 4th place. Mainoo has almost 10 points in these last two starts, and he is picking up points on both sides of the field, making him worth a look on the EPL waiver wire.
Ola Aina – Defender – Rostered 27% – Nottingham Forest vs Crystal Palace
After an injury at the start of the season, the defender finds himself consistently back in the starting lineup. He’s scored six or more points since he’s gotten back into the lineup, including a 19.75 point output last weekend against Brentford. His return has helped Forest in their fight away from the relegation zone, winning two, drawing a game, and losing just one over their last four. Forest host Crystal Palace, then travel to Leeds, then back home to play Wolves. That’s a great schedule over the next three games and a good reason to pick up Forest players.
Amine Adli – Forward – Rostered 8% – Wolves vs Bournemouth
Bournemouth have taken seven of the possible nine points in their last three, and they travel to last-place Wolves with a strong opportunity to keep things going in the right direction. Adli has started the last two. He scored his second goal of the season against Liverpool. Bournemouth are scoring goals, with an average of more than two over the last five. Adii isn’t a sure starter, but he’s certainly made a case for a continued role in the lineup. With the matchup and the positive play, he’s worth a look on the EPL waiver wire.
Go with the matchups. Trust your gut. Have some fun. Good luck.
