We’re 51 days from Opening Day, and the 2026 Dynasty Baseball Prospects: Daily Write-Up series turns to a near-term pitching contributor. Coming in at #87 is Logan Henderson, a right-handed starter who has already reached the majors and positioned himself as rotation depth for Milwaukee. Henderson’s profile is built on pitchability, command, and the ability to navigate lineups efficiently. With proximity on his side, he’s one of the more actionable arms in this range for dynasty baseball managers.
Daily Baseball Write-Up Series #87 Logan Henderson
Milwaukee keeps churning out arms with polish and nuance, and Logan Henderson looks like the next Brewer to nudge his way into the conversation. After a steady climb through the system, he’s handled Triple-A lineups with the kind of strike-throwing, bat-missing combo that translates. There’s nothing loud or gimmicky here, just a starter who executes, mixes, and keeps the ball off barrels more often than not.
What stands out first is the efficiency. Across 77.2 Triple-A innings, Henderson has run a 3.59 ERA and 1.11 WHIP, backed by a 10.1 K/9 against a 2.78 BB/9 and a clean 4.0 K/BB. That’s not smoke and mirrors. A 13.9% swinging-strike rate supports the punchouts, and holding hitters to a .217 average underscores how often he’s winning at-bats early. The FIP (3.77) and xFIP (3.73) are essentially in lockstep with the ERA, so what we’re seeing is earned. Relative to the level, he’s been better than average across the board in run prevention, strikeouts, and, most importantly for translatability, walk rate.

Henderson’s game is sequencing and deception with a legitimate out-pitch feel. The fastball plays because he commands it and can change eye levels, but the changeup is the moneymaker; it’s the pitch that drives the whiffs and disrupts timing. The breaker lands enough to keep hitters honest and gives him a second look versus righties. That mix, paired with above-average command, screams starter’s foundation. Milwaukee has a track record of refining fastball shape and leaning into best pitches, and Henderson fits that development lane. He’s already climbed into the back third of Top 100 conversations, and the performance says “near-ready” more than “project.”
If you’re looking for nits, there are a couple. The HR/9 sits at 1.04, only a tick above average, but it tracks with a batted-ball profile that leans less grounders (36.7% GB) and more line drives (29.1%). Add in a 52.5% pull rate from opponents and you get a picture of a strike-thrower who can be homer-prone when he misses arm-side or leaves something up. The good news: the walk suppression keeps traffic light, which softens the blow of the occasional long ball, and his underlying run estimators still like him. Clean up a few of those miss locations and we’re talking mid-rotation outcomes; leave them as-is and he still looks like a very usable back-end starter who’ll compete every turn.
Fantasy Outlook
In Dynasty, Henderson is the kind of arm I want to roster before the call comes. The skills, 13.9% SwStr, 4.0 K/BB, 1.11 WHIP at Triple-A, point to a high-probability starter with immediate ratio help. In Roto, the WHIP stability is the feature, with enough strikeouts to matter and ERA that should hold if the home run rate doesn’t drift north. In Points, his strike-throwing and K/BB play even better, giving him SP4/SP5 value out of the gate. American Family Field isn’t exactly a cure for fly balls, so expect some volatility on the bad days, but the floor looks sturdy and the path to Milwaukee feels imminent. If he lands a rotation spot, pencil him in as a streamer-to-hold who can graduate into a set-and-forget back-end starter, with a chance for more if the changeup continues to carry the load and the breaker tightens a hair.
