The ‘Hot’ or ‘Cold’ status will help take away your emotional attachment to certain Premier League players and bring in the players that you need to help you dominate your Fantrax Draft League!

These are Fantasy EPL Draft players that have risen in our rankings! These are potential free agents on good form or established players that you should be looking to trade-in. Keep an eye on these players, and bring them into your Fantrax squad if you can!

Cedric Soares

Position: Defender

Team: Southampton

Ownership: 14%

Form Last 30 Days: 9.62 PPG

Next 5 Fixtures: cry (A), liv (A), BUR (H), AVL (H), WHU (A)

What’s Changed?: Southampton are so in vogue right now, almost everyone is talking about Saints assets, yet we’ve rarely seen or heard much of a mention directed towards Cedric. The right back has been in sublime form of late and picked up an assist in Gameweek 23; his first attacking return of the season. Yet despite the lack of attacking returns, Cedric has been racking up the points with 56.25 points in his last five outings! With two clean sheets in the last five Gameweeks, it is also very apparent that Cedric does not just rely on clean sheets either. So if Cedric isn’t reliant on a cleanie, nor is he an attacking returns machine; he’s the ultimate Draft EPL player! Reliable points scorer without needing the eye-catching statistic!

Leandro Trossard

Position: Midfielder

Team: Brighton

Ownership: 72%

Form Last 30 Days: 9.08 PPG

Next 5 Fixtures: bou (A), whu (A), WAT (H), shu (A), CRY (H)

What’s Changed?: Its been a strange season for Trossard. Its so clear and obvious to anyone that has watched Brighton that he is their best attacking player, yet he has often found himself in and out of the side; OK we accept injuries here and there haven’t helped. However, the last four Gameweek’s have seen Trossard start, and play a full 90 minutes in every game. His performances have not disappointed either, with a goal and an assist, taking his season total to three goals and three assists for 17 appearances. With three double-digit scores, and more telling a score of seven points in a 1-0 defeat to Everton suggests that Trossard is capable of picking up a fair score even when not producing a stellar performance. All aboard Trossard chaps, the fixtures are kind; next stop – a free-falling Bournemouth!

Cenk Tosun

Position: Forward

Team: Crystal Palace

Ownership: 16%

Form Last 30 Days: 6.5 PPG

Next 5 Fixtures: SOU (H), SHU (H), eve (A), NEW (H), bha (A)

What’s Changed?: This was a predictable pick, having spent most of the weekend tweeting incessantly about our chap Tosun. Don’t be put off by the relatively low average points per Gameweek score from the last 30 days, you need to remember Tosun has played hardly any football in this time! The reason we think Tosun is so hot is that he fits the style of football Palace play so well. They rely heavily on Zaha and play a more direct style of football, something Tosun will enjoy. Tosun gives this Palace side direction, he gives Zaha and Ayew someone to run off, and given Palaces style; Tosun will benefit from excellent service provided by the likes of Draft favorite Milivojevic. As we saw in Gameweek 23, Tosun will get his opportunity as a January signing and so far he has taken it with both hands!

Fantasy EPL Defenders

Trent Alexander-Arnold (100%, Liverpool) – Just a ridiculous talent. Top 5 overall player
Harry Maguire (96%, Manchester United) – Beast in Togga scoring, despite United being poor at the back
Dijbril Sidibe (81%, Everton) – Scoring very well, and established in the side
Reece James (60%, Chelsea) – Scores very well whenever he starts!
Charlie Taylor (21%, Burnley) – The left-back has put in some good performances in recent weeks, despite clean sheets being hard to come by
Mason Holgate (16%, Everton) – Established in the Everton side, and scoring well

Fantasy EPL Midfielders

Kevin De Bruyne (100%, Manchester City) – Continues to perform at the highest of levels!
Riyad Mahrez (100%, Manchester City) – Really upped his game in recent weeks
Joao Moutinho (99%, Wolves) – This chap just churns out those points. A great midfield option
Jack Grealish (99%, Aston Villa) – Continues to perform to a high standard
Emi Buendia (95%, Norwich) – On amazing form at the moment. A top, top player
Abdoulaye Doucoure (88%, Watford) – Playing as the number 10 under Pearson, and has four attacking returns in his last three games
Fred (56%, Manchester United) – Consistent scoring midfielder, and taking set pieces
Declan Rice (47%, West Ham) – Scoring surprisingly consistently in recent week
Aaron Mooy (36%, Brighton) – On sensational form for Brighton. Mooy is their best player, and he’s guaranteed minutes
Stuart Armstrong (5%, Southampton) – Playing well for The Saints, and gets forward surprisingly well

Fantasy EPL Forwards

Gabriel Jesus (100%, Manchester City) – Scoring very well at the moment, despite Aguero returning from injury
Richarlison (100%, Everton) – Having a very productive season!!
Willian (99%, Chelsea) – Really upped his game in recent weeks, adding attacking returns to his already decent scores!
Danny Ings (98%, Southampton) – Continues to score goals and lots of Fantrax points!
Gerard Deulofeu (97%, Watford) – Actually scoring consistently well at the moment
Adama Traore (90%, Wolves) – A favorite of the chaps on the @fplkickaround; Traore has been a revelation this season!
Ismaila Sarr (61%, Watford) – We’ve featured Sarr a lot recently, as he’s finally settled into life in the EPL
Allan Saint-Maximin (52%, Newcastle) – Back in the side, and back in the points
Pedro Neto (20%, Wolves) – Keep an eye out for injury news about Jota. If he’s out for a few weeks, Neto is a really good option
Shane Long (16%, Southampton) – Starting games, and scoring goals!

❄️❄️❄️ Gameweek 24 Player Rankings: Cold List ❄️❄️❄️

These are Fantasy EPL players that have fallen in our rankings. This may be due to poor form, they have been dropped from the best 11, they have suffered an injury, or received a suspension. It’s time to consider dropping these players from your squads!

Kyle Walker

Position: Defender

Team: Manchester City

Ownership: 84%

Form Last 30 Days: 3.83 PPG

Next 5 Fixtures: shu (A), tot (A), WHU (H), lei (A), ARS (H)

What’s Changed?: How is Walker still holding such high ownership; 84% – crazy! We get it, Walker is a defender in a top-4 Premier League club, he was ranked as a Defender-1 at the start of the season, but right now his stock has fallen and fallen really hard! Walker hasn’t even played for the last three Gameweeks, and before then he had one double-digit score in seven games; his second-highest return was 6.25!

Recommendation: We suggest that you get rid of Walker immediately. Drop him, drop him NOW!

Pascal Gross

Position: Midfielder

Team: Brighton

Ownership: 90%

Form Last 30 Days: 5.75 PPG

Next 5 Fixtures: bou (A), whu (A), WAT (H), shu (A), CRY (H)

What’s Changed?: On the complete flip side to Trossard, the form of Gross has taken a significant downward spiral having missed both Gameweek 20 and 21, Gross has come off the bench to register only and combined 7.5 points. We have spoken at length on the @FPLkickaround how unpredictable Brighton has been with their selections, but at the moment we can’t see Gross getting back into the side over either Trossard or Mooy.

Recommendation: We would probably hold onto Gross. In the short term his appearances might be limited, but if Gross can find his way back into the side; he is a steady scorer.

Callum Wilson

Position: Forward

Team: Bournemouth

Ownership: 84%

Form Last 30 Days: 1.67 PPG

Next 5 Fixtures: BHA (H), AVL (H), shu (A), bur (A), CHE (H)

What’s Changed?: We all know the statistics about Wilson; no goals since September and no shots on target since November, until he put a lame header towards Tim Krul in the Gameweek 23 fixture against Norwich. For someone in a goal drought coming up against Norwich, the Premier League’s worst defense should really be a key indicator of whether the player is coming to come out of the drought any time soon. Sadly, from what we saw at Carrow Road yesterday if Wilson had still been out there now; we’re not sure he’d have scored. We can’t fault his effort, he looks desperate to score, possibly the desperation is taking over. But you cannot look past his form, and Wilsons‘ form is dreadful.

Recommendation: You’ve waited this long, why not hold onto your chap. Wilson is a class player, surely he’ll find the back of the net before long. However, service is poor and Bournemouth looks devoid of any confidence; we’d drop Wilson and look elsewhere!

Fantasy EPL Defenders

Ben Chilwell (100%, Leicester) – The ghost points, and attacking returns, have dried up
Jonny Otto (89%, Wolves) – Scoring very poorly and has very high ownership
Toby Alderweireld (78%, Tottenham) – Scoring poorly and conceding goals
Victor Lindelof (49%, Manchester United) – Never scores well in Togga Scoring
Danny Rose (38%, Tottenham) – Not getting a look in under Mourinho

Fantasy EPL Midfielders

Youri Tielemans (99%, Leicester) – Scoring very poorly – try and trade him out for a more reliable midfielder!
Paul Pogba (96%, Manchester United) – Injured again. Sigh
Luka Milivojevic (Crystal Palace) – Suspended for another two games, and has been scoring poorly anyway
Ryan Fraser (81%, Bournemouth) – What a nightmare he’s been this season. Scoring nowhere near last season!
Giovanni Lo Celso (27%, Tottenham) – Nothing is going for him this season. Just drop him and forget about him!

Fantasy EPL Forwards

Harry Kane (100%, Tottenham) – Ruled out with a hamstring injury… massive blow for a big player. Look at trades if you’re struggling
Joshua King (91%, Bournemouth) – Ruled out for around 6 weeks. Try and trade him out if you can’t afford to bench him for that long!
Ashley Barnes (65%, Burnley) – The goals have dried up for Barnes, and he’s scoring poorly
Wesley (62%, Aston Villa) – The big man has been ruled out for the rest of the season
Christian Benteke (18%, Crystal Palace) – Unfortunately he’s injured, after some great displays!
