It’s week 35 on the Fantrax EPL Waiver Wire. Meaning, there are only four games left. 34 just finished, and week 35 starts up on Friday.
Ryan Sessegnon was the pick of the week 34 suggestions, scoring a goal and earning great points against Southampton. Toti continued his solid run and kept a clean sheet with Wolves. His teammate, Marshall Munetsi, was good, not great. Niclas Füllkrug came on at the half, with little to show for his time.
Al this point, almost every player is droppable. Win each week, one week at a time.Â
Week 35 Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire
Week 35 suggestions (rostered 50% or less) are listed in order from most to least rostered.
Mateus Goncalo Espanha Fernandes – Midfielder – Rostered 50% – Leicester vs Southampton
The Southampton midfielder has been the lone fantasy option for them this season. They travel to the second-worst team in the league, so Fernandes should have some chances. He’s had a few big games this season, and he can be counted on to earn some points for Fantrax managers. He’s a worthwhile risk on the EPL waiver wire.
Jack Harrison – Midfielder – Rostered 48% – Everton vs Ipswich
Harrison has been one of the keys to Everton’s rise to safety in the EPL table. He’s been consistent and can be dangerous. He’s often on set pieces. Harrison is an attacking threat, but he’s scored just once this season. Everton are coming off a tough five-game stretch (Chelsea, Manchester City, Nottingham Forest, Arsenal, and Liverpool), and they will be happy to host a team from the other end of the table.
Ethan Nwaneri – Midfielder – Rostered 46% – Arsenal vs Bournemouth
This weekend’s game falls in between the home and away legs in the Champions League Semi-Final. Arsenal have all but secured a top-five spot in the EPL, and they sit in a great position. The game in Europe most likely will take precedence, meaning there is likely to be rotation. Nwaneri has shown that he is capable of big points and filled in well while Saka was injured.Â
Sepp van den Berg – Defender – Rostered 19% – Brentford vs Manchester United
If you’re looking for a defender on the EPL waiver wire, van den Berg is a steady choice with positive points week in and week out. Brentford are undefeated in their last four, while United are winless in their last five EPL games. United will also be focused on the European game, which is midweek. Brentford is also coming off a quality shutout win against Nottingham Forest.
It’s time to take chances if you need to. Go with the matchups. Good luck. Have fun.
