Fantasy EPL Draft – December EPL Fixtures

Here are the teams with the best set of EPL fixtures for December. Players on these teams have added value based on who they are playing.

December presents a stark contrast in fixture difficulty across the Premier League. Liverpool and Newcastle enjoy particularly kind schedules that make their assets prime targets for your lineup, while Aston Villa and Leeds face brutal runs that could derail even their most consistent performers.

December EPL Fixtures

Favorable EPL Fixtures: Liverpool hosts Sunderland to open December, then travels to Leeds before welcoming Brighton to Anfield. They finish the month with an away trip to Tottenham and a home fixture against Wolves, capped off by another home match versus Leeds. Apart from the Spurs away fixture, this is an exceptional run that should see Liverpool’s attacking assets deliver consistent returns, with their defense still hard to trust. Newcastle welcome Tottenham to St. James’ Park, host Burnley, travel to Sunderland, and then face Chelsea at home. They round out December with trips to Manchester United and Burnley. With four home fixtures in their six December matches, Newcastle are well-positioned to capitalize on their fortress mentality.

• Start = confidence to play them regardless OR riding the hot hand with good fixtures
• Stream/Rotate = matchup-dependent or short-term value plays
• Bench = own but don’t use, or consider dropping for better options for the month

Tough EPL Fixtures: Aston Villa face a nightmare December with trips to Brighton and away at West Ham, sandwiched around a home fixture against Arsenal. They then host Manchester United before traveling to Chelsea and Arsenal to close out the month. This is arguably the most difficult run any team will face all season. Leeds don’t have it much easier, hosting Chelsea and Liverpool to begin December, then traveling to Brentford before returning home for Crystal Palace. They finish with an away trip to Sunderland and another visit to Anfield. Manager confidence and asset deployment should be minimal for these two squads in December.
