Week 18 on the EPL waiver wire sees Fantrax managers readying themselves for the busy holiday fixture list.
In week 17, Wesley Fofana and Chelsea conceded two in the second half, keeping their points lower than they’ve been in weeks. Omar Hutchinson showed why he’s a solid player to roster, as even in a 0-1 loss, he managed solid points. An injury kept Jordan Henderson on the bench. Eddie Nketiah failed to score on his two shots in a 4-1 loss.
Expect rotation. Be ready to adjust.

Week 18 Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire
Week 18 suggestions (rostered 50% or less) are listed in order from most to least rostered.
Dwight McNeil – Midfielder – Rostered 38% – Burnley vs Everton
McNeil has started just a single game this season. But his services should be called upon again against 19th-place Burnley, who have lost seven straight. McNeil has been a steady attacking presence from Everton over the years and, at times, has been a top Fantrax player. It’s a good matchup for McNeil to get back to his former self.
Kevin – Forward – Rostered 27% – West Ham vs Fulham
Kevin still seems just on the edge of finally breaking out for Fulham. He had 16 points last game without a goal or assist. West Ham have the second-worst defense in the EPL, so Kevin and company will be looking for their third win in a row. Kevin has had chances, and one goal could get him started. Forwards are hard to come by, so Fantrax managers should take advantage of a player like Kevin, who had a good short-term matchup and long-term upside.
Curtis Jones – Midfielder – Rostered 24% – Liverpool vs Wolves
Liverpool have won two in a row and haven’t lost in five. Wolves are still without a win on the season and still have just nine total goals. There aren’t many Liverpool players open on the EPL waiver wire, but Jones is available in most leagues. With injuries and rotation, he has a strong chance of starting. If he does, Jones and all Liverpool players should have a chance for strong points against the worst team in the league, especially at home.
Keane Lewis-Potter – Midfielder – Rostered 13% – Brentford vs Bournemouth
Lewis-Potter scored his first two goals of the season against Wolves. That performance, plus injuries and players away at AFCON, means he should keep his place. He should be brimming with confidence as Brentford return back home, where they have lost just once (against Manchester City) and won five. Bournemouth have not won in eight games.
It’s going to be a busy stretch of games, so EPL Fantrax managers should be ready for rotation. Good luck. Have fun.
