Week 27 – Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire

The Week 27 EPL waiver wire follows the first double week and some surprising results in Week 26.

Week 26 suggestion, Rayan, has now scored in back-to-back games for Bournemouth. He has played three games thus far, has an assist, two goals, and double-digit Fantrax points in each. He’s now rightly rostered in 60% of leagues. Gabriel Martinelli scored just over 10 points in 98 minutes for the double week, but managers would have been expecting more, especially since he got a full 90 against Wolves. Tolu Arokodare was solid in the first game for Wolves, but he didn’t earn much in his sub appearance against Arsenal. Evann Guessand managed only 57 minutes, gaining a mere two points, as Aston Villa was stunned by 19th-place Burnley.

Week 27 Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire

Week 27 suggestions (rostered 50% or less) are listed in order from most to least rostered.

Ian Maatsen – Defender – Rostered 41% – Aston Villa vs Leeds

Maatsen has started four of the last five for Villa, averaging above 10 fantasy points in each of those starts. He’s contributing on the attacking end of the field, adding key passes, crosses, and shots, while his defensive stats continue to add to consistently solid outputs. Villa has the 3rd-best defense in the league, which is a big reason why they’re also 3rd in the table. He’s not a sure starter, but he’s certainly showing he should be in the starting XI. Opponents Leeds have won just a single game on the road. There’s a lot to like about rostering Maatsen this weekend and moving forward, especially as they travel to 20th-place Wolves in week 28.

Amine Adli – Forward – Rostered 39% – West Ham vs Bournemouth

Adli was a suggestion a few weeks ago, and despite his continued good performances, remains unrostered in 60% of the leagues. Just over his last four games, he has two goals and an assist, and he has 12 or more Fantrax points in each of those. Bournemouth are undefeated in their last seven. They’re scoring goals too and haven’t been held scoreless since December 6. West Ham is making a push to stay up in the EPL, but is still in 18th. There aren’t lots of forward options. He’s one to look at.

James Hill – Defender – Rostered 30% -West Ham vs Bournemouth

Just like his Bournemouth teammate, Hill remains open in most leagues, even though he’s been consistently good over his last seven games. He scored ten or more points in each of those games. He has assisted in his last two games (and has three now in total), with 25 and 17 points in those two. In that stretch of seven, he’s only been a part of one clean sheet, meaning he’s truly grabbing stats all over the field to keep his points high. He ranks third in defenders in Fantrax points since the start of 2026. He’s a top choice on the EPL waiver wire.

Mathias Jensen – Midfielder – Rostered 12% – Brentford vs Brighton

Jensen’s roster percentage dipped in week 26, probably due to a matchup against the league leader, Arsenal. Even in the 1-1 tie, he performed. He continues to be solid. Brentford has recovered from back-to-back losses, with seven points from their last three. They played Newcastle, Villa, and Arsenal over that stretch, too. Jensen seems to have cemented himself in the lineup. There are consistent points potentially here. The Bees host Brighton, who haven’t won in their last six. Their next four games have some good matchups, too.

As always, check the team news. Don’t be too spooked by the shock results last week. Go with the matchups. Have fun. Good luck.
