Week 30 – Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire

The week 30 EPL waiver wire arrives after a week off for Fantrax managers, but not all EPL teams that had FA cup or games in Europe.

In week 29, Valentin Castellanos was solid again in the 1-0 victory with just under 10 points. His teammate, El Hadj Malick Diouf, wasn’t quite as good, but still solid (and good if he was listed as a defender). A lone penalty goal kept Pascal Struijk from having a decent week. Zian Flemming picked up a knock and was not on the bench.

Week 30 Fantasy Draft EPL Waiver Wire

Week 30 suggestions (rostered 50% or less) are listed in order from most to least rostered.

Joao Gomes – Midfield –  Rostered 35% – Brentford vs Wolves

Gomes has been key in Wolves’ recent run of form. Their only loss of the last four games came against Crystal Palace when he didn’t start. He’s averaging over 10 in the games he’s started over the last three, including a goal against Aston Villa. Wolves are showing life for the first time all season. With little chance of survival, they are playing without pressure, and it shows. Brentford have just a single point from their last three home games and conceded five in those games. Wolves are still in last place, and there’s a reason for that, but Gomes and other Wolves players are available and interesting on the EPL waiver wire.

Alex Jiménez – Defender –  Rostered 32% – Burnley vs Bournemouth

Jiménez hasn’t been quite as good as his three defensive teammates, but that’s because they’ve been really good, especially in 2026. He’s a locked-in starter averaging almost nine points a game since the start of the new year. Bournemouth hasn’t lost in nine games and has kept three shutouts of the nine. The majority of his points are coming from defensive stats, but he has a goal, gets off shots, and adds key passes. There’s a lot here to like, especially against 19th-place Burnley.

Jose Sa – Goalie –  Rostered 17% – Brentford vs Wolves

Sa is the keeper on the last-place team in the EPL, but his recent Fantrax scores are far from the worst. He’s had to make saves all season with the porous defense in front of him, but now they’re getting results. He has 27 saves over his last five games, including two wins (against Aston Villa and Liverpool) and a draw (against Arsenal). Over that stretch, he conceded just four goals and kept two clean sheets. If you’re looking for a goalie with high point potential (he had 30 points against Forest), Sa is worth a look on the EPL waiver wire.

Habib Diarra – Midfielder –  Rostered 5% – Sunderland vs Brighton

Diarra scored in his previous game (his second on the season) and had double-digit points in the one before that. It looks like he has the starting spot locked up. Sunderland went through a bit of a rough patch, but they seemed to come through it. They’re a bit inconsistent and rightly find themselves mid-table. Diarra can score points. He’ll have a chance against Brighton, who have conceded at least one in their last nine games.

As usual, check team news. It’s hard to believe we’re into week 30. There’s still lots to play for. Good luck. Have fun.
